Our client, Antibody Analytics is a young, innovative and dynamic contract research organisation with big ambitions. They are a company run by scientists and are recruiting its core team to grow the Bioanalytical business unit. The company’s aim is to leverage its proprietary technology to produce beautiful assays to support biologic characterisation and give manufacturers access to the highest quality data.
Antibody Analytics approach is to give scientists the freedom to allow them to use their knowledge and experience to make the best decisions for the business and our clients. This role will combine study management and client interaction with laboratory experience to drive projects for our customers developing biological therapeutics through multiple stages of development.
= Study Management – overall responsibility for technical conduct of studies, as well as for the interpretation, analysis, documentation and reporting of results, and represents the single point of control.
= Design, perform and analyse experiments and interpret results with confidence.
= Technical expert with demonstratable understanding of biologic MOA’s and ability to define characterisation strategies.
= Ensure the smooth running of a research laboratory and comply with all company policies and procedures.
= Drive discovery of new assays.
= Act as manager, mentor and a great example of the company values to junior scientists.
Proven Industry Experience:
= Scientific expert with demonstratable understanding of bioassay, flow cytometry and ELISA assays for antibody functional characterisation.
= At least 2 years postdoctoral experience and/or 2 years working in the relevant life science sector with a minimum of 1 years study management experience.
= Leading client interactions and scoping new projects.
= Assay design and development.
= Performance of cell based and binding assays.
= Evaluation and interpretation of data from biological assays.
= Working within a regulated environment.
= Life Sciences degree.
= Salary – up to £31,125k.
= Full time permanent position and bonus.
